Is this safe for kittens?

Absolutely — We crafted this formula with the most sensitive cats in mind, including little ones who are still growing and exploring. It’s:

  • Made from food-grade, plant-based ingredients (safe if licked or ingested)
  • 99% dust-free (great for tiny lungs and sensitive respiratory systems)
  • Free from clumping agents, synthetic fragrances, dyes, and harmful chemicals

That said, with any litter, we always recommend closely supervising kittens during their litter training stage (especially under 12–14 weeks).
How long does a bag last?

Each 4.2kg bag of SoyKitty Unscented is designed to last one cat for one full month when used with a medium-sized litter box (around 12" x 16") and scooped daily.

That said, there are a few situations where you might need more than one bag:

  • If your litter box is larger than average and you like to maintain a deeper fill level
  • If you have a cat with urinary or kidney issues and they produce higher volumes of urine
  • If your home is multi-cat and you're sharing one litter box (though we always recommend 1 box per cat +1!)

In those cases, we recommend having a second bag on hand to make sure you don’t run out before the month is up.
What happens if my cat eats it?

SoyKitty is made from 100% food-grade, plant-based ingredients—so it’s safe if licked or even accidentally eaten. While we don’t recommend snacking on it (obviously), we know kitties sometimes accidentally ingest a bit of litter during grooming. That’s why we made sure our formula contains no toxins, no chemical clumping agents, and no synthetic additives. It’s also fully biodegradable and gentle on the digestive system—unlike clay or silica litters, which can cause dangerous internal blockages.
Can I compost it in my backyard?

You can! SoyKitty is biodegradable and made entirely from natural plant materials. It’s safe to compost as long as you remove solid waste first. (Most municipal and home composting systems recommend against composting feces.) But urine-soaked litter? Totally fine. Just make sure to ONLY use it in non-edible flower gardens.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Do you ship nationwide?
